Vivek previously worked as a project manager with Procter & Gamble. Since May 2011 has was a self employed farmer and in November 2013 he founded AIBONO. Vivek received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering Design from IIT Madras. Vivek built a drone that could take multi-spectral images of the land and the crops. The venture was initially named as Airwood Aerostructure and was later renamed as Aibono. He founded Aibono with a simple goal of providing real-time precision agriculture as an aid to farmers.
