Through the pandemic, technology has shaped education in ways that have had profound effects on the way schools and teachers engage students, and Class Saathi has been instrumental in leading this movement.
Class Saathi is an AI powered learning app that connects all the stakeholders in the education ecosystem through reports that track student performance on a micro level. The artificial intelligence framework that drives the application gives students a chance to manage their learning outcomes based on personalized recommendations that can be moderated to suit their specific learning needs.
Personalized learning has emerged as the new buzzword in the education technology space and artificial intelligence is what is known to guide it. Now what do these keywords stand for? Let us explore!
There are some human problems that cannot be addressed by simple human solutions and the education space has problems that cannot be solved by manual perseverance simply because of the volume of the challenge and the dynamic environment it operates in.
Having set the aforementioned tone, it is now imperative that we understand how Class Saathi deploys its artificial intelligence in the field of education.
To begin with, we identified challenges that plagued the system and deployed solutions specific to them. Two of these key challenges Class Saathi identified are:
Class Saathi already developed AI solutions to tackle these challenges. Our Knowledge Level Diagnostics technology accurately describes each student’s learning pace and level instantly. Along with that, we also use knowledge tracing AI technology to analyse student reports based on assessments to predict potential progress for each student, based on their unique learning levels.
We didn’t stop there!
Our AI developers in South Korea have been working very hard to produce and deliver the latest AI framework for the app under the project title “Pacemaker” that uses an AI timer to score and track student performance to increase the challenge and learning outcomes of students.
Class Saathi’s Pacemaker is the latest in our AI framework that uses tools called Predict Score and Predict Time to set the pace and challenge for each student based on their earlier recorded learning levels. The pacemaker suggests the time a student may take to solve a problem against a predicted score. If the student surpasses the expected score and time, the app rewards them with coins!
What we are trying to achieve with this new feature is a revolution in the self assessment world where students are driven to learn and manage their own learning outcomes by refining their competitive edge.
As Matshano Dhliwayo once said, “To be a champion, compete; to be a great champion, compete with the best; but to be the greatest champion, compete with yourself!”
