Trustworthy AI solutions that are imperative to benefit humans & societies

Dr Andreas Liebl, the managing director of the applied AI initiative in Germany, gave an insightful presentation on their project, which was initiated in 2022 and is a part of the Innovation and Commercialisation working group of GPAI. The project aims to apply the regulatory framework into practice.

Unlocking Responsible AI Data and Model Sharing for Generative AI and Other Applications

Lee Tiedrich, who is part of Innovation and Commercialisation in the IP committee, presented the project, which was started in 2022. As per the project, facilitating responsible and voluntary AI data and model sharing is critical to addressing the AI data challenge and promoting responsible AI.

Empowering Communities with Digital Ecosystem

The innovative project, which started in 2023, was proposed by Mike O’Sullivan, a Responsible AI working group member. The project intends to enable communities to work alongside the digital ecosystem by democratizing the technology.

Catalyzing Change: AI Impact on Latin American Workers

Alvaro Norma, who works under the Future of Work of the GPAI working group, gave his thought-provoking presentation showcasing their project, which started in 2023. Their AI solution is aimed at addressing one of the significant problems with communication in English for people whose language is not English.

Global Impact of Scalable and Safe Responsible AI Solutions

The groundbreaking project, which started in 2023, was presented by Amir Banifatemi, working under the Responsible AI group. The project aims to help operationalize the AI projects towards responsible scaling.

Repositories of Public Algorithms: A must for Government Accountability

The project, which was pitched for 2024, was presented by Juan David Guitierrez as a part of the Responsible AI working group. Most countries are looking for ways to implement AI solutions for government. But when AI systems make governing decisions and impact the lives of citizens, people have the right to know. And to react to those decisions, people should be aware of these systems. Here, the repository of public algorithms helps in gaining an awareness of algorithmic transparency.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Responsible AI

Borys Stokalski, the co-lead of the CAST project, presented an insightful session about the project as part of Future of Work. It was started in 2023. The project aims to build an online interactive framework that supports teams that work on AI-based solutions, services and products.

Safety and Assurance of Generative AI

The project was presented by Nicolas Miailhe as a part of a Multi-stakeholder experts group project. The project is pitched for 2024 and is currently in its first phase. This project will be tackling immense velocity challenges that will be dealing with generative AI.

From Wrench to Robotics: preparing Factory Worker for the AI Era

Basheerhamad Shadrach presented the project as part of the working group Future of Work, which emphasized the need to enable factory workers in this AI era. The project highlighted that AI literacy for these workers in the informal sector is the need of the hour.
