Problem / Objective:

Rural and underprivileged youth do not have access to resources to learn skills which can make them job-ready. Pune City Connect and Social Venture Partners started an innovative experiment to promote inclusivity in the education sector.

Solution / Approach:

Under the project, every individual is assigned an AI bot from the time each trainee enters the center. The bot uses AI and machine learning to assist individuals in finding relevant skills and then help them in learning during the skills acquisition process. The bot helps the individuals to search for jobs, and after they get into a job, it allows them to search and schedule mentors and provide remedial learning on the job. The bot also offers young learners a pool of mentors who can be reached out with the help of the bot itself.

Impact / Implementation:

Many individuals opened their businesses and joined companies as employees using the skill development program offered by Pune City Connect and Social Venture Partners.
