Developed in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, and the ChangeInkk Foundation, this casebook highlights 18 AI-driven solutions that enhance accessibility across domains. These include assistive devices, adaptive learning tools, communication technologies, and AI-enabled healthcare support systems.
The casebook emphasises the importance of designing AI systems that are inclusive by default, grounded in principles of accessibility, privacy, and user-centricity. It also highlights the need for cross-sector collaboration to ensure that innovations reach those who need them most.
Through real-world case studies and practical insights, the casebook aims to support stakeholders in building technologies that not only advance capability but also uphold dignity, independence, and equal opportunity.
