Use of AI for assessment of students

The Delhi government plans to introduce the use of AI and game-based techniques for continuous assessment of students under its new state school education board. The board will use AI to provide teachers with real-time learning feedback. Under game-based assessments, students will be given situations or be involved in activities to evaluate their skills and understanding. 

Use of AI to find GST evasion

The Delhi government will soon start to use a machine-learning tool to fight tax evasion and identify bogus firms. A study has been commissioned by the Delhi government and a tool has been developed by researchers in University of California, Berkeley.   

Delhi Police Unveil AI-Based Language Tool

The Delhi Police has introduced a phonetic keyboard with a Hindi voice typing facility in the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System (CCTNS) for investigating officers (IOs) to verbally record their work on the electronic database. The system, as a pilot project, has been launched in all police stations of New Delhi and the northern districts of the force. It will be rolled out in all police districts soon.   

Chatbot and one-stop website to fight pollution

The Delhi government has launched a chatbot and one-stop website to keep people informed about what they can do to fight pollution. Delhi government launches chatbot, ‘Paryavaran Saathi’ chatbot is an initiative that has been started to encourage people to be more mindful of environmental concerns.
