BLUIS is the flagship development of GA & PG Dept under which a web and mobile-based solution has been developed to monitor changes in all government lands in Bhubaneswar by leveraging high resolution satellite imagery, thus making Odisha the first state in the country to tap space technology and Artificial Intelligence for safeguarding government lands.

An online service for the verification, identification and submissions of life certificates for pensioners, under the state's Digital Life Certificate system initiative. Pensioners can now submit identification and life certificates using artificial intelligence (AI) based video-verification processes. 

In its bid to ensure greater fiscal accountability, effective resources management and increased productivity, the state government is set to go for integration of AI in the financial auditing mechanism for its organisations. The technology will be used to classify documents according to type, extract relevant information and perform analysis.  

E-Pravesh is a web and mobile based application with facial recognition technology to ease and authenticate entry for visitors to LokSeva, Rajiv Bhawan and Kharavel Bhawan. QR Code feature has been provided as an alternate verification tool for the security personnel.  

Iris recognition has been actively used for authenticating ration beneficiaries at fair price shops and facial recognition has been used for regulating visitor entry at Odisha Secretariat.  

Usage of drones to check mining compliances – such as lease area boundaries, active mining area vs forest area – has been conducted in Odisha.
