The application for the NASSCOM DeepTech Club Program (DTC), one of the largest deep tech ecosystems in India, is open now. The club promotes a league of best-in-class tech entrepreneurs and focuses on nurturing and promoting world-class DeepTech Companies from India.

“With DTC, we are building a cohesive community to support the deep tech startups by connecting them with industry leaders, successful entrepreneurs, investors, academia, researchers, and government regulators. Today we are an ecosystem of 180 + cutting edge deeptech product startups with many of them serving customers globally," says NASSCOM in a release.

Who all can apply?

• Deep Tech: Startup must be creating a deep tech-based product: AI, ML, AR/VR/MR, Blockchain, Robotics, IoT, Security, Vision, Speech, Acoustics, Core Tech (DL Frameworks, Operating systems, Telemetry, Simulations, Quantum, Silicon Photonics, High-Performance Computing solutions, etc.
• Product Focus: Company must have a candidate product to qualify for DTC; (Could be a Product or Service company)
• Founding Team: Credible founding team having domain/technology expertise in the needed field AND ready to commit time for the program
• Origin: Founders must be Indian/Indian origin/Tangible activity in India/Company could be registered in India or global
• Product Stage: Minimum POC/MVP stage product is mandatory for a company to qualify
• Unique Idea/Innovation: Does the product differentiates and has potential for IP/Patents?

This is a program intended to promote the creation and evolution of world-class DeepTech product startups in India. DeepTech would involve Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), AR/VR, Robotics, NLP, edge computing, and similar technologies. As DeepTech is the way forward for the future tech industry and requires focused attention, as against nurturing a conventional technology startup. Focused attention for an extended duration entails both theoretical know-how and the practical hand-holding of DeepTech startups.
