ARTPARK calls deep-tech innovation teams/startups in AI, Robotics, and Autonomous Systems to solve big industry or societal problems for the ARTPARK innovation challenge ’24. The firms will receive support of Rs. 2 crore per year per team/startup. They will receive mentoring and connections to deep-tech facilities, researchers, and investors.
The ARTPARK Innovation Challenge 2024 is designed to provide various modes of support to various types of teams: researchers/innovators affiliated with institutions can avail of grants; startups can get investments; and unaffiliated/unincorporated teams can join ARTPARK as Innovators-in-Residence. Through this challenge, the selection will also be made to the prestigious Startup@ARTPARK programs based on stage and fit.
The areas of interest for the innovation challenge include Robotics, Autonomous Systems, AI, Indian language AI, and Communications and network technology. The applicants should be from the Industrial Automation, Mobility, Agriculture, and Health domains.
The participants will be provided with deep support – financial and otherwise – for deep-tech innovations that will have a game-changing impact on the industry or society. They can leverage shared resources in facilities such as ARTgarage (for advanced manufacturing and testing), test beds for drones/autonomous systems, wireless/5G test beds, etc.
The organisations can connect with investors/VCs who are genuinely interested in deep-tech startups. Some active participants in their programs are Accel, Ideaspring, Social Alpha and Speciale Invest. They will also have access to a thriving ecosystem - in India and abroad - for cutting-edge research/tech collaborations.
