The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) funded autonomous college, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, has announced short-term courses for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and cybersecurity.
These courses are offered online, for 10 hours worth five-days-a-week classes for 2 hours a day, for 12 weeks. The course is open for learners who have completed their graduation or have passed with similar qualifications.
The programmes will be a mix of the basics and advanced topics pertaining to AI and ML such as probability theory, pattern recognition, big data analytics, computer vision, augmented reality, deep learning and related advancements. For the course of cybersecurity, the course will cover subjects such as forensic and incident response, system programming, reverse engineering and malware analysis, basic and advanced vulnerability analysis, exploit mitigation and penetration testing followed by the tools and techniques for cybersecurity professionals will be taught.
The 12-week-course will cost Rs 15,000. The entrance test for AI and ML will be conducted on February 20th and for cybersecurity, the test will be conducted on February 21st. Registrations for the entrance test starts from January 28th to February 15th at the official website, onlinecourse.diat.ac.in. The courses will start by February 28.
