Engineers India Limited (EIL) has taken a significant step forward by forging a strategic partnership with Detect Technologies Private Limited. This collaboration is set to revolutionize the construction industry, harnessing the power of real-time artificial intelligence (AI) technology to ensure the implementation of safe practices at construction sites. Moreover, it will streamline progress monitoring for clients in India and abroad.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 12th April 2024, in the presence of Vartika Shukla, the Chairman and Managing Director (C&MD) of EIL, Varun Kumar, the Chief Business Officer, and R Ramachandran, the Director of Detect Technologies Private Limited. Rajeev Gupta, the Director of Projects at EIL, and Tarun Kumar Mishra, the Chief Strategy Officer at Detect Technologies Private Limited, conducted the signing.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), EIL and Detect Technologies will work together to offer real-time AI based monitoring for applying safe practices and monitoring progress at construction sites for different projects being carried out by EIL. The company stated that this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will enable the development, operation, and maintenance of an AI solution. This solution will utilize cameras, drones, and cloud computing to provide a safe work environment at the site. The primary goal is to prevent accidents and injuries that result in lost time and monitor the project's progress.
