The IIT Madras Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RBCDSAI) has begun accepting Post Baccalaureate Fellowship applications. RBCDSAI is an IIT Madras centre for artificial intelligence and data science research. The Centre's network analytics, deep reinforcement learning, natural language processing and deep learning groups are the largest and most active globally.
Prof. B. Ravindran, Head of RBCDSAI, said, "The Post Baccalaureate fellows to do independent research under the guidance of a Faculty member at RBCDSAl. They can work with different research teams and form partnerships with the Center's many visitors and members. Those chosen will get a stipend of Rs 40,000 per month."
The 2-year research fellowship in AI and data science is open to women with a bachelor's or higher and under 28 on March 31, 2022.
The fellowship will allow participants to attend talks and interact with top scientists worldwide. Their work could be printed in leading journals and presented at the A* conference. In addition, they could work for leading companies in Data Science and AI or go to top universities to do research.
The fellows will get money to help them go to Women in Tech events like ACM-W and the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. Fellows may also match them with a woman mentor from academia or the business world.
The fellowship comes with an initial stipend of Rs 40,000 per month, which we could change based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Also, based on how well the candidate did during their work period, the faculty may give them a letter of recommendation to help them in their future work, whether in academia or the business world.
