The Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh has launched two executive courses - Professional Certification in Applied AI and Professional Certification in Fullstack Development - in partnership with WileyNXT, a learning solution for emerging technologies. 

 The programmes cater to early-career professionals who are keen on creating a career in AI and Analytics. Upon completion of the programme, the learners get a joint certification from IIT Mandi and WileyNXT. 

 The future of AI is bright in India as the Indian AI market is valued at $ 6.4 billion as on July-August 2020. This will lead to an increase in demand for talent. The joint programme of Applied AI aims to cater to this demand by creating skilled-based AI professionals who can contribute to AI research and development in various industries.

 The six-month online certification course are designed as unique learning experiences that use case studies, virtual labs, simulation models, caption projects and masterclasses by Wiley India Advisory Council consisting of top industry experts and business technology drivers in India and across the globe. The aim of the course it to enable learners to contextualise technology skills with a deep understanding of the business as well as a problem-solving mindset.
