IIT Madras announces the AI residency program - research track @ AI4Bharat, a one-year program aimed at nurturing talented researchers from India working in natural language processing, speech recognition, and vision.

Program highlights

Eligibility criteria

• Graduates who earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline during the last two years, i.e., in 2020 or later
• Strong programming abilities with a track record of self-directed projects on Github/Kaggle. Participation in competitive programming would undoubtedly be an asset.
• It understands the fundamentals of Deep Learning (This program could accomplish this through a certified online course and a course taken as part of the B.Tech curriculum).
• Experience in developing and assessing large-scale deep learning models. Experience with transformer-based models for natural language processing (NLP) such as BERT, mT5, mBART, wav2vec, etc., is a great advantage.
