On Thursday, President Droupadi Murmu stated that India aims to extend its global engagement by leveraging its excellent industrial skills, high-quality human resources, and cutting-edge advanced technology achievements.
Speaking at the CII's International Engineering and Technology Exhibition, she stated that there are many crucial areas where international collaboration in engineering and technology will bring about changes that will make the world more wealthy and safer for future generations.
Murmu stated, "India is on a mission to extend its global engagement by leveraging its excellent manufacturing experience, high-quality talent, and cutting-edge technological achievements." She stated that artificial intelligence would transform healthcare beyond recognition shortly. Murmu remarked that industrial automation and robotics would revolutionize production in ways that were unthinkable a decade ago.
In addition, Murmu stated that the importance of technology in healthcare cannot be overstated as the globe appears to be emerging from the Covid-19 issue and that this sector would remain a priority in the coming years. In addition, the President noted that policies taken in recent years had fueled unprecedented inclusive growth.
She added that the rapid digitalization of the economy and its acceptability at the social level had unlocked a new potential that has generated new avenues for high growth. She further stated that India is the most sought-after place for everything from mobile phone manufacturing to defence and aerospace.
"Our devotion to sustainable energy has propelled our internationally acclaimed green growth. As a result, India has been making steady progress towards its 2070 goal of achieving net zero emissions, "the President added.
The International Engineering and Technology Exposition will be hosted at Pragati Maidan in the nation's capital from February 16-18.
