As we mark 75 years of India’s independence as ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the INDIAai team is happy to announce the launch of leading 75 AI startups in India. This compendium of 75 Indian AI start-ups is an effort to celebrate the contributions of these startups in rolling out innovative solutions for the Indian ecosystem and their urge to make a difference in our way of life. 

The 75 startups featured in this compendium do not represent ranking metrics as India’s thriving AI ecosystem contains hundreds of innovative startups. The startups featured here are shortlisted from the INDIAai database. Moreover, they have been founded within the last ten years and have independent operations in India.

The national AI portal of India was set up almost three years ago, together with NeGD and NASSCOM, with an intent to nurture the AI community in India. 

The country has recovered well from the effects of the epidemic and made great strides in science and technology, with the rising usage of modern technologies like artificial intelligence deserving special attention. India has already established a name for itself in the IT and telecom industries and is gradually emerging as a sought-after centre for technological advancements. India has also steadily established itself as an AI hotspot by supporting deep tech start-ups and academic research and facilitating digital transformation in all key industries.
