One of the global leaders in next generation digital services, Infosys along with NVIDIA declared that they have expanded their strategic partnership aiming to enhance the enterprises around the world to drive productivity gains with generative AI applications and solutions.  

This widened collaboration is expected to bring NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem of models, tools, runtimes and GPU systems to Infosys Topaz, which is an AI first set of services that leverages the power of generative AI technologies. With this integration, Infosys is planning to build offerings that customers can adopt to easily integrate generative AI into their businesses.  

In addition to this, Infosys also plans to establish an NVIDIA Centre of Excellence, where they can train and certify around 50,000 employees on NVIDIA AI technology to offer generative AI expertise to the vast network of customers across industries.  

The co-founder and chairman of Infosys, Nandan Nilekani said, “Infosys is transforming into an AI-first company to better provide AI-based services to our clients worldwide. Our clients are also looking at complex AI use cases that can drive significant business value across their entire value chain”. “Infosys Topaz offerings and solutions are complementary to NVIDIA’s core stack. By combining our strengths and training 50,000 of our workforce on NVIDIA AI technology, we are creating end-to-end industry leading AI solutions that will help enterprises on their journey to become AI-first,” he added.  

Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA commented, “Generative AI will drive the next wave of enterprise productivity gains.” “The NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem is ramping up quickly to provide the platform for generative AI. Together, NVIDIA and Infosys will create an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions,” he added.  

How does this NVIDIA-Infosys benefits businesses? 

Infosys predominantly uses full-stack NVIDIA generative AI platform like hardware and enterprise-grade software to innovate all of their business operations. This helps the customers to create generative AI applications for their business, sales and marketing.  

This NVIDIA AI Enterprise frameworks, pretrained models and toolkits such as the NVIDIA NeMo™ LLM framework, NVIDIA Metropolis for computer vision and NVIDIA Riva for speech AI — Infosys has already developed several offerings to multiple AI-first enterprise solutions across industries.  

They mainly include: 

  • Integration of Infosys Video Analytics platform with NVIDIA Metropolis will provide the power of computer vision in addressing the challenges of retail industry in the country. It includes implementing a frictionless shopping experience, enhancing the merchandising and planogram compliance, minimising the shrinkage, extracting real-time intelligence, inventory monitoring, detecting compliance for health, safety and many more.  
  • Collaboration of Infosys Generative AI Labs and NVIDIA NeMo framework enables enterprises to fine-tune and fast-track deployments of LLMs tailored for various enterprise use cases, ensures a cost-effective and easily scalable platform. Utilising the NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, Infosys is augmenting its Responsible AI Toolkit to create powerful intelligent practices to guard from the potential risks of generative AI, like IP infringement, bias, hallucinations and security threats. 
  • Clubbing Infosys Cortex with NVIDIA Riva speech and translation AI, Infosys assures AI-driven next-generation contact center solutions. These include features like language neutralization for smooth multilingual support, and equipping contact center representatives with real-time customer intent and sentiment analysis tools to improve customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. 

The partnership extends to digitalisation of applications, with a focus on developing solutions for enterprise use cases across 3D workflows, design collaboration, digital twin, world simulation and others. Infosys and NVIDIA are also reportedly co-developing AI-powered solutions in the domains like 5G, cybersecurity and energy transition.
