As part of the Annual GPAI Summit 2023, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is planning to organize a Global AI Expo. The Exhibition will provide a platform for the industry, educational institutions, start-ups, and MSMEs to present their work to a global audience, demonstrate how AI solutions address real-world challenges and increase worldwide recognition for innovative contributions in AI. 

The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) is an international and multi-stakeholder initiative to guide AI's responsible development and use, grounded in human rights, inclusion, diversity, innovation, and economic growth.

As the council chair of GPAI, India will host the Annual GPAI Summit from 12-14 December 2023 in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India. The Summit will see participation from AI Experts, multilateral organizations, and other relevant stakeholders from 28 GPAI member countries and the European Union. 

Any organization (educational institutions, companies, start-ups, MSMEs) forefront of AI innovation and has developed technology that has the potential to benefit society and address critical global challenges is invited to participate in this unique opportunity to exhibit their work to a global audience of industry leaders, policymakers, thought leaders, domain experts, fellow innovators and institutions, start-ups, and other stakeholders from 29 countries.

The AI Expo may be centered around the following themes/sectors: Agriculture, Food, Health, Water Resources, Environment and Pollution, Education, Culture, Transportation, Highways and Waterways, Railways, Energy, Public Safety, Disaster Management, Legal, Finance, Governance and Cyber-Security.

The participants must showcase their AI technology to a diverse and influential audience worldwide, including government representatives, industry experts, and potential investors. They should demonstrate how their AI solutions are addressing real-world challenges and positively impacting society.

All applications for participation should be submitted by the competent authority of the organization / Official nominated by the Board of Directors/CEO. An eligible applicant may submit only one application per organization.

An expert panel will review all applications and select the organization based on its innovation, impact, and alignment with the GPAI mission.

MeitY reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its discretion.
