The Data Tech Labs Inc campaign 'AI for India' was launched by Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan. The campaign was launched amidst more than 100 MNCs, MSMEs and Startups in Delhi. This campaign is powered by AWS and supported by the Ministry of Education (GOI) and AICTE, aiming to evaluate, train, practice, provide internships, allocate projects, and certify and employ 25 lakh, Indian citizens. The Education Minister of India Dharmendra Pradhan, along with Prof Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE; Chandrasekhar Budha, CCO, AICTE; Dr Amit Andre, CEO, The Data Tech Labs and Amit Mehta, Head, AWS Training and Certification, India and other delegates were present during the event.
Chandrasekhar Budha remarked that AI for India initiative is trying to bridge the gap between the supply and demand matrix in worldwide tech talent with Indian Students. He added that they are changing the educational policies to skill and up-skill students to make them future-ready. AI for India will guarantee over 20 lakh internships, over 50K industries, and 36K institutions for digital India.
The campaign is divided into five events:
The campaign is a part of the ABCDEFGHI program of GOI to impact and train students in the areas of AI, BlockChain, Cyber Security, Data Analytics and Intelligence, Extended Reality (XR), Electronics, Energy Solutions, Full Stack Developer, Gamification, GitHub, HTML5, Human-Computer Interaction and IoT. It is envisioned by the Government of India to register more than one crore students and get them trained in these merging areas for 3 to 6 months. As a result, the students pursuing higher education can upgrade themselves in emerging technologies.
According to Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of AICTE, this initiative is palpable as it builds a strong future for the younger generation, helps make the economy, and ensures that India comes into the limelight.
