On 23rd June 2022, in a virtual event, NASSCOM announced the winners of the second edition of the AI Gamechangers. The event also witnessed the release of the Gamechangers compendium. In addition, AI Parley, with the theme ‘From Potential to Maximizing the Impact’, hosted the launch of India’s first-ever AI Adoption Index by NASSCOM.  

AI Parley began with the welcome address of Debjani Ghosh, President and CEO of NASSCOM. The event was also graced by the presence of Abhinav Kanth, CEO of NITI Ayog and Anna Roy, Senior Advisor, NITI Aayog, who launched the adoption Index. During the welcome address, Debjani Ghosh spoke about the reach of AI and the need for analyzing the impact and called the present time “the decade of action”. In addition, she stressed the need for enhanced focus on governance and ethical use of AI. 

This year, a new section for AI research was introduced in the Gamechangers, which included researchers from various sectors. There were 67 applications in 19 categories for the second Gamechangers edition. The panelists, as well as the participants, delivered their vision and notes of gratitude during the declaration of the winners. The winners of the NASSCOM Gamechangers 2022 were EClerx in BFSI; Tango Eye in Retail & CPG; Sectrio in Cybersecurity; CarScan in Transport & Logistics; Praman AI by Intel Labs in Agriculture; Smarten in Education; Ezerex in AI for Next Billion; Datafoundry in Healthcare and Life Sciences; AIRA Matrix Private Limited in AI application; IIT Hyderabad in DL Algorithms & Architecture; IIT Bombay in ML Fundamentals; Brainsight AI in High Potential; Uptime AI in Manufacturing; Tenzai Systems Private Limited in Business Intelligence; Quidich Innovations Labs in Computer Vision; Crediwatch in Network Science; Vunet Systems Private Limited in AI Ops. Government showcases included TNeGA, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and Telangana State Technology Services. The event also celebrated AI challengers and AI innovators of the year. Showcasing the best of India’s AI innovators, AI Gamechangers Compendium was launched by Debjani Ghosh. 

The two-hour function also presented expert talks and panel discussions from the industry experts on subjects such as AI adoption in healthcare, BFSI Sector, Industrial and automotive sector, CPG and Retail. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Sangeeta Gupta, Senior Vice President of NASSCOM.
