INDIAai, the National AI Portal was launched as the central hub for everything AI in India and beyond, on May 30, 2020, by Hon’ble Minister of Electronics and IT Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad. And today marks its first anniversary.

The portal has been enriched by the dedicated efforts of Central and State Government organisations, Industry and Academia. These can be seen in terms of 612 articles, 443 national & international news items, listing of 256 startups, 23 investment funds, 118 colleges, 76 case studies, 55 research reports, 156 videos, 100+ AI initiatives from the Government organisations, datasets, and AI standards. 

On the eve of one year anniversary of the initiative, INDIAai team is proud to announce the launch of the 'One Year of INDIAai' booklet, which consists of the major highlights from the last year.

The first-anniversary event also included the unveiling of a new home page design and fireside chat on the theme ‘Making India as a global leader for AI’ featuring Mr Nandan Nilekani, Co-founder and Non-executive chairman, Infosys, Mr Ajay Sawhney, Secretary, MeitY and Ms Debjani Ghosh, President, NASSCOM. It was followed by AI Pe Charcha on the theme ‘Implementing Trustworthy AI Solutions’, which will consist of a keynote from the global AI thought leader and a demonstration cum presentation on AI-based solutions.
