During the G7 Summit, the Prime Minister participated in the Outreach session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Energy, focusing on Africa and the Mediterranean. 

He expressed his deep pride in attending the Summit following his re-election, a momentous event noted as the largest democratic exercise in history. Emphasizing the importance of a human-centric approach to technology, the Prime Minister proudly highlighted India's remarkable success in using digital technology for public service delivery.

Discussing India's "AI for All" mission, he stressed that AI should be used to promote the progress and well-being of all people. He emphasized India's commitment to international collaboration as a founding Global Partnership for AI member.

The Prime Minister also detailed India's energy transition strategy, which is centred on availability, accessibility, affordability, and acceptability. He reiterated India's commitment to achieving NET ZERO carbon emissions by 2070. 

Referring to India's Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), he passionately urged the global community to actively participate in the "Plant4Mother" tree plantation campaign launched on World Environment Day, aiming to make it a widespread movement. He emphasized that this is a shared responsibility for all of us.

Furthermore, he strongly advocated prioritising the Global South's concerns, particularly Africa. He highlighted India's unwavering commitment to the African Union's admission as a permanent member of the G20 under India's presidency. He reassured the audience that their interests were being represented and valued.
