Artificial Intelligence is considered to be the next major technological leap – or the most significant General Purpose Technology (GPT) similar to electricity and the Internet. With AI possessing the power to radically transform the economic and social fabric of the world we live in, there is a growing consensus to promote the responsible use of AI, for the greater good of humanity and for inclusive socio-economic development. 

Responsible AI for Social Empowerment (RAISE 2020), a virtual global AI summit, organized by the Government of India in partnership with Industry & Academia will aim to address this. Over a span of five days and nearly 40 power packed sessions, some of the best minds in AI will discuss and deliberate the way ahead for India on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence across industries.
