Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM), powered by NASSCOM, introduces Academic Grand Challenge. The challenge's objective is to foster the entrepreneurial spirit amongst the students.
In this challenge, student teams from colleges across India are expected to build solutions for two areas. One involves building a futuristic, pure digital bank that integrates modern technologies to enable banking wherever and whenever. The other will require a predictive analytics model to estimate if and when the financial markets will crash this year.
A total sum of Rs. 1,00,000 will be awarded to the winners. Rs. 50,000 will be awarded as second prize and Rs. 25,000 as third.
To submit the solution and enter the challenge, the participants should register for a free iamneo account. The applicants should ensure that they own or control all rights in and to the solution before submitting it.
The winning team will be given six weeks to work on the use case. Then, the teams will have to submit the results, approach, and code to be presented to the jury for evaluation. The winning criteria will be a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to solve the problem.
The Grand Challenge will commence on the 23rd of March, and the winners will be announced on the 21st of July. The applications will go through multiple stages, which include a jury presentation.
