Wakefit.co, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) mattress and furniture maker, has launched India’s first AI-powered sleep solutions. The company aims to integrate technology into the sleep environment to optimize sleep quality and health. The new Wakefit Zense range includes two essential products: Regul8 and Track8.
Regul8 is a mattress temperature controller that adjusts the surface temperature based on personal preferences, ranging from 15°C to 40°C. It uses advanced sleep technology to manage temperature according to sleep duration and automatically recommends practices. Track8 is a non-wearable, contactless sleep tracker with a sensor sheet under the mattress. It provides detailed insights into sleep patterns, including stages, respiratory rate, snoring, movement, and overall sleep quality, delivering an aggregated sleep score.
Ankit Garg, CEO and Co-founder of Wakefit.co, underlined the significance of addressing the sleep quality gap in India, as evidenced by their Great Indian Sleep Scorecard (GISS), which reveals a consistent lack of sleep among Indians. Yash Dayal, Chief Technology Officer of Wakefit, reassured the audience about the user-friendly nature of these innovations, which are designed to enhance sleep quality without disrupting daily life.
Sleep researcher Matthew Walker has noted that inadequate sleep can reduce learning ability by up to 40%, underscoring the importance of both sleep quantity and quality. Wakefit’s Zense range aims to fill this significant gap in the Indian market by offering precise and customized sleep tracking and optimization.
Following in the footsteps of international pioneers like American company Eight Sleep, renowned for its smart mattresses and mattress covers, Wakefit is poised to transform India's sleep landscape with AI-driven solutions. The Zense range promises a brighter future for sleep, fusing advanced AI with user-friendly features to deliver unparalleled sleep quality and tracking.
