Abhishek Singh is an officer of the 1995 batch of IAS with diverse experience in administration, managing law and order, implementing development programs, and policy formulation at Central Government with regard to the use of Technology for improving Governance. He is presently the MD & CEO of Digital India Corporation (DIC) and President &CEO of NeGD. He has formerly served as the CEO of MyGov. In addition, he served as Secretary of the Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board, Government of India, from June 2019 to Sep 2019.

From 2017 to 2019, he was with the Government of Nagaland as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister with additional charges of Principal Secretary of Urban Development and Principal Secretary of Personnel & Administrative Reforms. He was also a Home Commissioner Nagaland in 2018.

From 2014 to 2017, he was the Executive Director of the Food Corporation of India and coordinated implementing initiatives relating to Information Technology, Engineering and Storage. He also held additional charge of Executive Director (North Zone) & CVO FCI. Abhishek is an IIT Kanpur alumnus and did his Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government as a Mason fellow in May 2013.

He has experience working with Ministers, the Chief Minister and the Governor of the State for policy formulation and implementation. He has also implemented developmental and welfare programmes at the district level with special emphasis on Poverty Alleviation Programmes and the delivery of Educational and Health Services.
