Amit Mehra is Principal at Unicorn India Ventures. He comes with over 12 years of experience in Management Consulting, Business Development, Corporate Strategy and Investment Analysis across US and India. He brings strong transactional background with hands-on exposure in scaling companies.

Prior to this, Amit was based out of Chicago where he led Corporate Development for Exelon, the largest electric Utility in US. His job entailed analyzing technology investments to maximize share-holder returns. He drove integration efforts post Exelon’s acquisition of Pepco Holdings Inc. Amit was also a key member during American Airlines’ restructuring effort back to profitability where he was engaged in combining the restructured entity with US Airways to create largest airline in the world.

Amit has also worked with Deloitte Consulting in their San Francisco office where he led management consulting assignments across Tech-Media-Telecom (TMT) Industry verticals. He was a core member of the team responsible for recruiting MBAs from some key west coast schools like Stanford and Berkeley. Prior to Deloitte, Amit worked with Barclays Capital in their Investment Banking Division out of Hong Kong.
