Ashish Anantharaman is the CTO & Co-Founder of ZestMoney - India’s first and largest AI-Driven, digital financing platform. ZestMoney is an Indian consumer lending Fintech built on a platform using digital banking, mobile technology, and Artificial Intelligence on Cloud hosted infrastructure. ZestMoney provides financial options through affordable EMIs to over 300 million households around the country that are currently unable to access a credit card, loan or other formal finance options due to insufficient credit history.

Before co-founding ZestMoney, Ashish completed a degree in Software Engineering from Bombay University. He had professional stints with accounting stalwart, KPMG, as well as tech giant Microsoft before working with Veritas EMC2 and Swiss Re Consulting. After overseeing website development at Sportingbet, he joined Betfair, where he had the remarkable distinction of introducing the world’s first online, streaming-based betting product. It was on the back of this achievement that Ashish joined Wonga, one of the biggest financial lending companies at the time. In his role as Head of Software Development, he led the team in developing Wonga’s B2C2B, SME and consumer lending products.
