B.V.Naidu brings in 25 years of rich experience as an entrepreneurial mentor and Indian IT growth facilitator. In his capacity as Director of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), he has created effective Techno Economic Ecosystem by actively engaging with the Industry, Government Departments and Academic Institutions. Mr Naidu has facilitated the growth of the software exports from less than $8 million with 13 companies in 1991 to $12.0 billion from more than 1800 companies in Bangalore by 2007.
Recognition
Currently Mr. Naidu is also the Chairman of the Sagitaur Ventures India Pvt Ltd., a holding company which has interest in IT/Telecom, Semiconductor, Green Energy and core infrastructure and in the past he has played a seminal role for the growth of the IT Industry in India.
Mr Naidu is the VC of the Karnataka ICT Group, which was structured by the CM to devise the roadmap for building the decisive leadership of Karnataka in ICT by 2020. He is also a founding trustee of the (IIIT-Bangalore). Mr Naidu was also on Karnataka CM’s task force on IT in 2000. He is a former chairman of India Semiconductor Association and also a founding Trustee of TiE.
