Before starting a faculty position at Ropar, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow hosted by Prof. Jesse Hoey at the University of Waterloo. Prior to joining Waterloo, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow B for two years at the University of Canberra with Prof. Roland Goecke. I was also affiliated with the Health Research Institute at the University of Canberra. I received my PhD from the Australian National University. I was supported by the Australian Leadership Award 2010. During my PhD, I visited Prof. Gwen Littlewort and Prof. Marian Bartlett at the University of California San Diego. In 2013, supported by the ANU Dean's travel award, I visited Prof. Stefanous Zaferious and Prof. Maja Pantic at the Imperial College London. I worked as a Senior Software Engineer with Samsung Delhi R&D before starting my PhD.
