About

Manish Kheterpal is managing partner with WaterBridge Ventures. Manish Kheterpal is a private market investor with over 15 years of knowledge in venture capital and private equity, and six years of operating experience in technology, telecom and education sectors. Manish graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering from IIT Delhi (1996) and received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (2004).


So far his investments have covered leading start-ups like Chalo, PocketPills, Dataweave, SocialCops, Magicpin, Unacademy and 9Stacks. Manish has led and managed over $500 Million of investments during his investment career, principally in India and across the US-India corridor.


Before WaterBridge Ventures, Manish gave 11 years of his professional career to senior investment roles at Rho Ventures, Actis Capital and Providence Equity Partners.

Recognition

Manish’s accomplishments encompass investments in Idea Cellular, Phoenix Lamps, Hathaway Cable (Providence); Dalmia Group (Actis); as well as BroadLogic, LightPointe (Rho). Manish has worked in product marketing and product management roles with Telco from Ciena. He has spent a year working on an entrepreneurial venture in the education sector, and has been an active angel investor in India and the US. Manish is an active member of, Stanford Angels and TiE, two of the most entrepreneurship focused networks.Manish is one of the board members of Spectra (a fibre broadband provider), Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), Stanford India Alumni board, and (formerly) the Shri Ram School in Delhi.
