About
Prof. Parag Chatterjee is a Research Professor at the National Technological University in Buenos Aires, Argentina and an Assistant Professor at the University of the Republic, Uruguay, after graduating from St. Xavier's College Kolkata (University of Calcutta, India).
Currently he leads the research in Artificial Intelligence under the National Agency for Research and Innovation, Uruguay applied to the National Liver Transplant Program, Uruguay. Prof. Chatterjee’s expertise spans across the transdisciplinary areas of Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and data analytics applied to healthcare. His current research is aimed at the aspects of machine learning towards early prediction and prevention of diseases .
Apart from publishing in international journals, he is Associate Editor of the Internet of Things journal, Elsevier and member of editorial and reviewer boards of 20+ international journals. He is also the editor of the book 'The Internet of Things: Foundation for Smart Cities, eHealth, and Ubiquitous Computing' published by Taylor & Francis.
In addition to being a TED speaker illustrating Artificial Intelligence in eHealth as a global discipline, Prof. Chatterjee has delivered invited talks and keynotes in international conferences and events like ExpoInternet LatinoAmerica (Argentina), IoT Week Geneva (Switzerland), and in institutions like the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (India) and University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy).
