Ramakrishna R is a B.tech holder from PESIT, and he also studied design and analysis of algorithms at Stanford. He started his career with Microsoft as an intern and then later joined Google. After some years he took a sabbatical at Google and joined Kumbha Foundation in association with MIT as a technical mentor. He later resumed his work with Google as a software engineer and continued there for over four years.

Ramakrishna later went on to founding IWe, a hyperlocal crowdsourced content sharing network and CureSkin.
