About
S.D Shibulal co-founded Infosys in 1981 and led the company in different capacities since its inception. He was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Infosys. He stepped down from the post of CEO and MD on 31 July 2014 and was succeeded by the first non-founder CEO of Infosys Dr. Vishal Sikka. He is the President of the Infosys Science Foundation for the year 2015.
He holds a master's degree in computer science from Boston University and a master's degree in physics from University of Kerala.
Recognition
Mr. Shibulal serves on several global leadership forums and advisory boards, and is a sough after speaker in many global events on economy and industry. He is a member of the WEF's global agenda council on emerging multinationals'. He also serves on the board trustees of Boston University.
