Sateesh Nukala is the CEO and Cofounder of BigHaat. Sateesh is the CEO & Co-founder at BigHaat and is responsible for strategic leadership. He is closely involved in the process of planning and development of newer frameworks whilst enhancing current procedures. Prior to co-founding BigHaat, Sateesh had co-founded ATCS Labs, a startup where they built India’s first smart irrigation controller to improve crop yield for farmers. Before the entrepreneurial journey, Sateesh was with Honeywell for close to a decade where his work resulted in four patents in Application of Technology for Industrial Safety. He has worked in various global leadership roles building large products and systems leading global engineering teams. Sateesh was born in the remote village of Peddapasapula in Andhra Pradesh to a family of farmers and this has enabled him to gain knowledge on the basics of agriculture at an early age. He graduated from National Institute of Technology, Calicut, with a Masters in Instrumentation and Control System.
