About
Thamme Gowda is fascinated by the expression of beauty and intelligence in mathematical and natural languages. Currently, he is a junior researcher at the USC Information Sciences Institute. He is also pursuing his PhD at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering Computer Science Department.
Thamme obtained his bachelor degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University and masters degree from the University of Southern California, both majored in Computer Science. He is pursuing Ph.D from the University of Southern California. He supports open source technologies and good software engineering practices. He is a committer and PMC member at the Apache Software Foundation, where he learned the best things are often free and open.
Recognition
Thamme was a Data Scientist intern at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, CA, where his research career started, and he was exposed to daring the mighty things. He also co-founded Datoin.com. He was a full-stack developer at SimplyPhi Software Solutions, Bengaluru, India, where he hardened his software engineering skills and trained to do almost anything - from front to the back of software stack
