With over a billion of the population in the country, India does not have enough number of radiologists. The skewed radiologists to patient ratio of 1:100K means early and timely disease detection is definitely a major challenge in the Indian healthcare market. Qure.ai was founded to address the need for affordable and accessible diagnostics using deep learning technology. The company claims its algorithms can detect clinically-relevant abnormal trauma findings from X-rays, CT Scans and MRIs in lesser time that doctors typically take which is about less than 3 minutes with 95 percent accuracy.

Qure.ai uses deep learning techniques to diagnose disease and create automated diagnostic reports from CT Scans, X-Rays and MRIs. This helps radiologists make faster and more accurate decisions and provide automated radiology support to physicians even in rural areas where radiologists are typically not available.

Qure.ai’s algorithms help doctors and radiology centres to be more efficient and accurate with their diagnosis. The company claims to have used more than 7 million data sets to train its AI algorithms and has validated test results and accuracy of its diagnosis at global institutions such as Stanford University, the Mayo Clinic, and the Massachusetts General Hospital.

In India, the company collaborated with NITI Aayog, Piramal Foundation’s Piramal Swasthya initiative, and PATH NGO. Qure.ai’s chest X-rays solution has been deployed in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan where it claims to have reached more than 10K patients.
