OpenAI’s ChatGPT was highly praised for passing the prestigious Wharton MBA exam and even the exam that gives US doctors their license to practice medicine. But this time, it failed while appearing Joint Entrance Examination, a gateway for engineering aspirants to study in the finest institutes like IITs and NITs. According to the report, ChatGPT even received a negative score in JEE advanced exam.
After failing India’s most challenging exam, UPSC OpenAI’s chatbot failed another competitive exam. The chatbot could only crack 11 questions in both the papers of JEE advanced. At the same time, ChatGPT had scored 45% of marks in the medical entrance exam, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), where the candidates must answer a minimum of 180 questions out of 200. ChatGPT attempted all 200 questions and scored 359 out of 800.
The chatbot scored average on the CLAT exam as well. ChatGPT solved 50.83% of questions correctly in the CLAT UG exam. Though the chatbot failed to deal with reasoning and quantitative question, it scored the highest marks in English and Current Affairs. However, the concept-based question seemed difficult for the chatbot.
ChatGPT also scored remarkably well in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG Exam). It scored about 66.4% in the Business Studies paper by answering 36 questions correctly. Since its launch, the AI chatbot has been doing wonders and has grabbed people’s attention by answering queries about almost anything under the sky.
It has cleared various competitive exams in the US, including the US Medical Licensing Exam and MBA exams. ChatGPT even managed to clear the Google Coding Interviews for 3rd-level Engineers. Clearing the BAR exam with a 75% score is yet another leap for the chatbot. Scientists have claimed that this giant leap in Artificial Intelligence can immensely help humans ease the effort and increase productivity beyond our imagination.
