Various IITs in India have been offering online courses in AI. These courses aim to skill and upskill Indians in the field of AI. Executive Post-Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science By IIT Bombay: The Centre for Machine Intelligence and Data Science (C-MInDS), IIT Bombay, has introduced the Executive Post-Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. AI courses for school students by IIT Madras: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has launched two online certificate courses for students in classes 11 and 12. The courses offered are data science art, artificial intelligence, and electronic systems. The courses are part of the IITM School Connect programme, which aims to provide Hands-On Experience of Career Choices for Class XI and XII students. IIT Madras has launched short 4 to 8-week programs across various disciplines to introduce students to diverse fields of study. These programs will offer a unique opportunity for your students to explore different career paths and gain practical insights into their future academic journeys. 450 schools have partnered with the institution, and over 11,000 students have benefited from the previous batch.

Applied AI & Data Science program by IIT Jodhpur: The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) unveiled a BSc/BS degree in Applied AI & Data Science. This program is designed to meet the rising demand for skilled professionals in artificial intelligence and data science. According to a statement, the course is targeted at students and working professionals, and it offers a flexible online format paired with campus immersion experiences at IIT Jodhpur. Students can earn a certification in the first year, a diploma in the second, a BSc degree in the third, and a BS degree upon completion of the fourth year.

Certificate course on Python for AI by IIT Kanpur: IIT Kanpur has introduced a Certificate Program on Python for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). The program will include extensive Python projects using practical, real-world datasets in several fields, including Business, Medicine, Science, Engineering, and other domains, using numerous cutting-edge packages such as NumPy, Linalg, Matplotlib, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and Keras. The course duration is from the 1st to the 27th of December 2024.
